Cross Contamination

Spunlace wipes are made new and if USA made, have no binders or glues.  There are no contaminants from previous users.

Rental Shop Towels have a high risk for contamination because the washing process may not remove metal chards, residue or other fine debris.

Rags can contain buttons, zippers, stains, loose threads and potential oils and dirt from a previous life as an article of clothing.

Microfiber cloths are new for the initial use, then washed and reused. Cross Contamination depends on soil level.

Reusable or Disposable

Spunlace wipes are disposable due to their low price. Use spunlace wipes until soiled.  They can be rinsed and reused but washing is not recommended.

Rental shop towels are reusable. The towels must be stored, counted and after soiled picked up for washing.

Will Spunlace replace blue shop towels or shop rags?

We believe spunlace is the superior product all around. But it mostly depends on the application. Spunlace towels are more comparable to a soft absorbent rag than the paper blue shop towels available at Lowe's, Home Depot, and Amazon.

Best Lint Free Towels

Spunlace is superior to blue shop towels and rags when it comes to leaving lint. The Spunlace Blue Shop Towels are “essentially lint free”. In everyday use the lint is essentially non-existent. The Blue Paper Shop Towels, rags, or DRC are NOT lint free.
